(RNN) - JetBlue is offering $99 nonstop flights out of Florida to help people fleeing Hurricane Irma. Connecting flights will go for $159, plus tax.

The New York based airline is offering the same deal for Charleston International and Savannah/Hilton Head international.

The fare cap will also cover select destinations in Haiti, the Turks and Caicos, The Dominican Republic and the Bahamas, according to Business Insider.

The $99 fares will be available through Sept. 13 depending on availability.

The airline’s decision to slash prices came on the heels of public outrage when airfares out of Florida suddenly soared to more than $1,000 for one-way domestic flights.
