(RNN) - If you’ve got 10 grand to just absolutely throw away and you don’t feel like setting it on fire and making a YouTube video, here’s another idea.
Villa Italian Kitchen, a franchised fast-food pizza restaurant, will make you a customized bikini made out of any kind of pizza you like. It’s a pizza. It’s a bikini. It’s a pizza-kini. This promotion is allegedly in honor of National Bikini Day, which is July 5, if the press release is to be believed.
All it takes is incredibly poor judgment and $10,000. For purposes of perspective and visualization, that would be 100, $100 bills; 500 twenties; or a stack of ones about the size of a slightly taller than the average 4-year-old American boy, 43 inches, give or take.
They hired a New York food stylist called Jessie Bearden and the cost includes initial consultation and fitting, creation of the suit, which is made of the freshest ingredients known to man: homemade, hand-braided dough, 100 percent mozzarella cheese, farm-fresh California tomato sauce and blah, blah, blah.
Villa Italian Kitchen has about 400 restaurants internationally in malls, airports, casinos and other high-traffic locations. If they each sold one $5 slice, they'd gross $10,000.
