KOBAR VILLAGE, WEST BANK (AVN/IRB/CNN) - On Wednesday, Israeli security forces destroyed a house which belonged to a Palestinian youth accused by the government of being behind a deadly stabbing attack against Israeli settlers.
The Israeli government asserts that 19-year-old Omar al-Abed, who used to live in the home, had fatally stabbed three settlers in the nearby settlement of Neve Tsuf on July 21.
The demolition took place in the West Bank village of Kobar, near the city of Ramallah in the West Bank, according to the Israeli military.
Tractors were used to move debris as soldiers stood guard. Local residents threw rocks at the departing soldiers, and burned flags.
