NEW YORK (CNN) - Five people were injured after scaffolding crashed down onto a busy street in New York City.
Pictures from the scene show wooden planks scattered over the street in front of a 12-story office building in the SoHo neighborhood as firefighters work to clear the site.
Police said all five victims suffered minor injuries.
Some parts of the city were experiencing heavy wind gusts at the time of the incident. The cause of the collapse is under investigation.
