BOSTON (WCVB/CNN) - An SUV crashed into a fire hydrant Monday, and turned a Boston street into a lake.
State police said a driver hit the hydrant after having a medical emergency.
The 70-year-old was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Crews responded with pumps to begin removing the massive amount of water, which also created a sinkhole.

A tow truck began to hook up to the SUV a few minutes later.
State police said the northbound side of the road was closed in the area due to the incident.
Officials said crews would be on scene for the remainder of the evening and said water services in the area may be disrupted.
