(RNN) - The House of Thaller is recalling some packages of Hummus with Pine Nut Topping because of fears of listeria contamination.
The recalled 10-ounce packages were distributed nationwide through grocery retailers from April 18, 2017, to June 13, 2017, according to a news release at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration website.
The products have the lot code on the top of the cup. The code begins with a "USE BY" date followed by the letter "W" and a 7 digit code.
Listeria, an organism, can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
Customers can contact the House of Thaller Customer Service Center from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., at 855-215-5142.
A complete recall list is on the FDA site.
