CALABAS, CA (KCAL/KCBS/CNN) - Crews rescued a horse that fell over a cliff in California on Sunday.
Authorities say a woman was walking up a trail with her horse when the trail began to narrow.
The horse tried to step over a fallen tree and fell over a slope into heavy brush.
A vet sedated the animal, then crews airlifted it to safety.
The horse has some bruises, but is otherwise OK.
The horse’s owner was not hurt.
