(RNN) - Witness video of an altercation involving a white family and two black female service women has been shared thousands of times online.
The incident in that video occurred on Saturday, inside a Cheddar's restaurant in Georgia, after Judy Tucker and her son followed two service women inside from the parking lot, where an issue over a parking space originated.
Once inside, the mother and son duo confronted the women which led to a verbal exchange and shoving match which was all caught on camera.
Tucker then hit one of the service women, Treasure Sharpe, who is pregnant.
Police said Tucker insisted multiple times that it all started because she was white and that it was a race issue, despite confessing to hitting Sharpe. according to a police report.
Tucker told police that the incident started because the women were “getting in their way” as Tucker with passengers in tow, tried to park.
According to police, the video shows the other service woman, who has been identified as Stephanie Mitchell, standing in between both Tucker and Sharpe, attempting to deescalate the tense situation.
Police said once Tucker realized Sharpe took her phone out to record, Tucker said, “Don’t you take a picture of me,” as Tucker and her son lunged towards the pregnant woman and Tucker hit her in the face.
Prior to being assaulted by Tucker, Sharpe told the woman that she was pregnant, to try to dissolve the situation, according to police.
