NEW YORK (CNN) - Gorilla Glass was used in a passenger vehicle shown to investors.
The thin, light strong glass is already used in iPhone screens.
Glassmaker Corning introduced a car Wednesday that had Gorilla Glass in the dashboard, the center of the steering wheel, the center console and the roof.
Lighter than regular glass, Gorilla Glass could help with fuel economy.
But the big drawback right now it costs a lot more than regular glass.
