(CNN) – Google photos is making sure pets are recognized in your family’s pictures.
Google announced Monday that its photos service will now recognize pets. Google photos can detect photos of your pet and group them together automatically the way it does with humans. Users will be able to see pictures of animals grouped alongside people.
Not only that, but pets can be labeled and searched for by name.
That means you no longer have to type “dog” or “cat” into the Google photos search function.
The update rolled out in most countries on Tuesday.
