(CNN) - A cool new feature will soon have your Android phone camera doing more than snapping pictures and recording video.
Google Lens was introduced Tuesday.
The tech company says Google Lens takes the artificial intelligence capabilities of Google Assistant and puts it into visual search
With it, you can point your smartphone camera at an object, and as long as Google Lens recognizes it, it will give you more information about that object.
Lens features are expected to roll out to Android phones in the coming months.
