(CNN) - Former President George H.W. Bush is facing a new groping allegation.
A Michigan woman says he touched her inappropriately while he was in office at an event in April of 1992.
The woman, now 55, told CNN that she was attending a fundraiser for Bush's re-election campaign in Dearborn, MI, with her father when the president grabbed her rear end during a photo opportunity.
She said she rationalized the moment to herself back then by saying they were moving closer together for the photo and so "it was probably an accident."
But recent reports about groping allegations against the former president, now 93, and in a wheelchair, made her rethink the incident.
At least six other women have said the former president groped them during photos between 2003 and 2016.
This allegation is especially significant because it is the first time a woman has come forward to accuse Bush of unwanted touching while he was in office.
