(CNN) - A group of three former Google employees are suing the company for "systemic" gender pay discrimination.
In a lawsuit filed on Thursday, the women said Google offered fewer promotions to their female workers, and lower pay.
Now they're hoping a judge will certify their filed complaint as a class-action lawsuit.
The lawsuit comes during an investigation by the U.S. Department of Labor, into Google's alleged gender pay discrimination.
Google denies the allegations and said it has systems in place to prevent pay inequality.
