BUCHANAN CO., IA (KWWL/CNN) - Former "Bachelor" star Chris Soules was in court in Iowa on Thursday.
The 35-year old was involved in a deadly crash back in April, and he is accused of leaving the scene.
Soules was not charged with driving under the influence, though court documents reveal Soules was in possession of alcoholic beverage containers.
During Thursday's hearing, the motion for bill of particulars was withdrawn and the State of Iowa was willing to amend the trial information.
Soules' attorney said they originally wanted to ask for the bill of particulars to clarify one of the codes in the original narrative because there were two separate code divisions.
A hearing for a motion to dismiss is set for Oct. 10.
A jury trial is scheduled for Nov. 16.
If Soules is convicted, he could face up to five years in prison.
