(RNN) - Crime is down in the U.S. according to data released by the FBI.
The numbers are for last year, which saw the overall crime rate fall for the 15th year in a row.
But it’s not all good news. Violent crime is up.
The Brennan Center for Justice analyzed the numbers and found an almost 8 percent uptick in murders.
