(FACEBOOK/CNN) - It's likely you're one of the now two billion people who use Facebook every month.
CEO Mark Zuckerberg shared the milestone Tuesday morning.
He said the social network is making progress on its goal to go beyond just connecting people online.
Last week, Zuckerberg announced Facebook's new mission statement, which is to "give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together."
