GWACHEON, South Korea (RNN) - A pair of quick-thinking pachyderms rescued a young calf when he fell into a pool of water too deep for him to stand in.
Seoul Grand Park Zoo posted video of it to YouTube on Sunday. The young elephant leans in too far into the water, losing his balance and falling.
The elephant that was standing beside the calf begins to pace back and forth along the edge of the water, as the young one struggles. Another that was off to the side comes over to help and shoves the first elephant toward the pool's entrance.
Both join the calf in the water and scoot it into shallower waters. Then the three safely walk out together.
