(CNN) - The Eiffel Tower is celebrating passing the 300-million visitor mark on Thursday.
Celebrations include concerts on the different floors of the Tower, and a nighttime light and a sound show every half hour. The first floor of the Tower is being turned into a nightclub for the evening.
There's also a photo contest on Facebook. The winner gets a trip to Paris!
The Eiffel Tower was opened to the public in 1889. It now gets about 7 million visitors a year from around the world.
