(CNN) - In two years, Dunkin' Donuts will stop using polystyrene cups in its U.S. stores.
The coffee retailer announced Wednesday, it will start using double-walled paper cups beginning this spring.
Dunkin' said the new cups will hold heat just as well as the old polystyrene cups, so you still won't need a sleeve to protect your hands.
The change brings U.S. stores in line with Punkin's international locations, which are already using paper cups.
New York and California will get the new paper cups first.
Then they'll be rolled out Nationwide.
Dunkin' Donuts aims to end the use of polystyrene cups completely by 2020.
