(CNN) - Video from a drone shows the utter devastation resulting from the war over Raqqa, Syria, the former self-declared capital of ISIS.
ISIS militants have largely been run out of the Syrian city, with about 1,500 estimated to be left fighting in some pockets of Raqqa.
Airstrikes in Raqqa continue to pound away at what is left of ISIS, which is steadily losing territory in both Syria and Iraq.
More than 400,000 Syrians have lost their lives in the Syrian civil war, and millions have been displaced since the start of the bloody conflict in 2011.
