DAYTON, OH (WKEF/CNN) - An Ohio mother and her young son were killed after a car slammed into their home in Dayton on Wednesday night.
Police said they saw the car speeding, but didn't have a chance to chase it down before it crashed into the home.
Maria Davis, 39, and her 7-year-old son Jerome were killed, according to police. Her other 13-year-old son Aaron was not injured. They were all in the living room.
Police arrested one person who tried to run away, and are searching for a second suspect.
They said drugs and a gun were recovered from the vehicle.
