ANCHORAGE, AK (KTUU/CNN) - Little Daisy had a rough week.
The cocker spaniel's recovering after a frightening attack by an angry moose. The whole thing was caught on a surveillance camera
It happened in Kim Mahosky's backyard in Anchorage, AK. Mahosky said she wasn't aware of the moose when she let her dogs outside to play.
That's when she heard a commotion
“I looked up and a mama moose jumped over the fence and attacked [Daisy],” Mahosky recalled. "The other dog was able to get away."
Daisy suffered a four-inch gash across her back and had to undergo surgery. The tough little pooch is now on the road to recovery.
Mahosky is hoping her story will warn others of the dangers Moose can pose.
