SAN DIEGO, CA (CNN) - Coast Guard officials seized 1,200 pounds of marijuana in California this week, under unusual circumstances.
A boater called the Coast Guard about a battery issue while sailing in San Diego on Sunday morning.
When officials arrived to inspect the boat, they found around 50 bundles of marijuana.
Two people were on board at the time, and they were both arrested.
Coast Guard officials believe the drugs were brought in from another country.
