DENVER (KDVR/CNN) - The calendar may say it's fall, but Colorado is getting a taste of winter.
On Monday the field at Denver Broncos football stadium had a white covering. It's the first snow of the season for the Denver area, and snow is expected to fall all day.
Up to five inches of snow is expected for Denver, while the mountains could get as much as a foot.
But a good deal of that snow should melt quickly because the ground is warm from the weekend.
