(CNN) - Delta Airlines is suspending service to Venezuela indefinitely.
That's according to a leaked document verified by a Delta communications manager and confirmed on Delta's Twitter account.
The July 25 document notified Venezuelan officials that Delta's last flight into Caracas will be on Sept. 16.
Multiple questions about the change appeared on Delta's Twitter page Thursday.
In response to one user, the company wrote in part, "Delta will notify customers booked for travel after September 16th to discuss options."
