(CNN) - The deaths of four U.S. soldiers in the African nation of Niger have prompted the U.S. military to examine its procedures. The soldiers were killed in an ambush.
More than 50 ISIS-affiliated fighters were involved, officials estimate. One soldier was separated from the others and was found hours later, dead.
A full investigation is now underway. President Donald Trump was briefed on the deadly shootout.
