OKLAHOMA CITY (KOCO/CNN) - A candidate running for Oklahoma state congress has admitted to stealing an opponent's campaign signs.

A surveillance camera outside an Oklahoma City business captured it all on camera.

This business surveillance camera captures a car pulling into this parking lot near 36th and Classen around one this afternoon.

A man now identified as Tom Guild gets out of the vehicle and walks over to a 'Horn for Congress" campaign sign.

He's out of frame for several minutes then later appears picking up those signs and walking out of the camera shot.

Kendra Horn says she wants to focus only the issues that matter.

"We've run a strong positive campaign, it saddens me to see something like this happen, but I just want to focus back," said Horn.

Guild issued this statement saying in part:

"Sometimes in the heat and the rush of a campaign, mistakes are made. On reflection, removing some of my opponent's signs - for any reason-was a mistake on my part and I sincerely apologize," said Guild.
