(CNN) - Want to make your flowers to your significant other last a bit longer?
Try a year.
That's how long Venus Et Fleur is claiming its bouquets will last.
Seema Bansal and her partner, Sunny Chadha, founded the flower company that specializes in boxed roses that they say last an entire year.
Venus Et Fleur is the exclusive floral vendor for department store Saks Fifth Avenue and delivers more than 80,000 arrangements each year.
The couple worked with a farm in Ecuador to develop a wax-based solution that can preserve each rose's texture, shape and even some of its scent.
But the roses don't come cheap.
A single red rose costs $39 while a box of 42 costs upwards of $399.
