KATY, TX (KPRC/CNN) - Elmer Villatoro was on his way to work and stopped to get a haircut. Moments later on Wednesday he was shot to death.
Villatoro, 39, a father of two, was shot in the head while receiving a haircut at Harris County hair and salon.
Official say a man in his 20s walked into the business and put a gun to the victim. He then fired one shot into the back of his head before leaving in a vehicle. Two workers and another customer were not injured.
The victim was the head chef at Antonia’s Restaurant in the Kay area, KPRC reports.
The report added that the restaurant will hold a benefit dinner on Aug. 17 to help the family.
