NEWTON COUNTY, GA(WSB/CNN) - A baby's father faces several charges in the death of his newborn daughter.
Christopher McNabb, 27, was charged on Wednesday with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated battery and concealing the death of Caliyah McNabb, according to media reports.
An autopsy report from the coroner's office said the 15-day-old girl was killed by blunt-force trauma.
Both he and the girl's mother, Cortney Bell, told police they fed and changed Caliyah at 5 a.m. Saturday. Five hours later, they called 911.
The 911 call from Saturday morning is shedding light on who first noticed the disappearance of Caliyah.
"Do you think somebody took her, ma'am?" the dispatcher said.
"My 2-year old says she's gone. I've looked everywhere in the house, and I don't know another possibility," Bell said.
"I have clothes and totes. I've looked all in them. She's not here!" she said. "Her dad just left and he's walking around the park looking for her."
"You and the dad were both sleeping or did he just came back home?" the dispatcher said.
"Me and him woke up together. She woke us up together," Bell said.
"The 2-year old woke you up and told you the baby was gone?" the dispatcher said.
Sunday afternoon, search crews discovered the baby's body.
McNabb was arrested on a probation violation for a robbery out of Bartow County. He fled after the girl's body was discovered.
