British judge orders baby Gard's parents to present any new evidence

Posted

(CNN) - The UK’s high court has set a hearing for Thursday in a case involving a British baby that has drawn international attention.

The court is giving Charlie Gard's parents a chance to submit new evidence showing why their terminally ill 11-month old son should receive experimental treatment in the U.S.

The parents have received support from President Donald Trump as well as the pope. A Vatican hospital has offered to take in the child while the parents decide what type of care he would receive.
