LYNNWOOD, WA (KCPQ/CNN) – An 11-year-old in Washington was at home on Halloween, handing out candy to trick-or-treaters, when two teenagers pepper-sprayed him.

The boy, named Rameez, opened the door Tuesday night to see two people dressed all in black and wearing masks like those in the movie “Scream.”

The two pepper-sprayed Rameez in the face.

“I thought it was one of my friends, and then when I opened the door, they sprayed me in the face. I was just really surprised, and I ran up[stairs] screaming,” Rameez said.

Rameez says the pepper spray burned.

“My whole face was burning, especially my eyes,” he said.

The 11-year-old says his eyes feel fine now, but his neck hurts.

Rameez says he doesn’t know the boys, who he believes were teenagers. He says the two were about 6’ tall and skinny.

The boy’s mother and two sisters were also at the home when he was attacked.
