(CNN) - Police in California have released body cam footage of an interaction they had with the woman who opened fire at YouTube headquarters this month.
Nasim Aghdam shot and wounded three people before killing herself at the scene.
Just hours earlier, Mountain View police had spoken with her after finding her inside her car, which was linked to a San Diego missing persons report.
Officers spoke with Aghdam, telling her that her family reported her missing.
She explained that they weren't getting along and she wanted to start a new life with family in Mountain View.
Police say Aghdam was cooperative. And a records-check didn't show any threats of violence.
So they had no legal reason to keep questioning her.
Her father told police later that she may have been in Mountain View because she was upset at YouTube's handling of her videos, but he didn't indicate she was a threat.
