HURON, OH (RNN) – A yacht owned by the family of U.S. Secretary of Betsy DeVos was set adrift while docked at a port in Huron, OH.
The 163-foot Seaquest was moored Sunday when some person or persons untied the boat from the dock.
The yacht’s captain called police when he realized that the $40 million boat was gone.
The boat was eventually controlled but not before it hit a dock, causing $5,000 to $10,000 in damages.
Police are searching for suspects.
It is unclear why the boat was in Huron, the Toledo Blade said.
The yacht is one of 10 the Devos family owns, according the paper.
