CHICAGO (WLS/CNN) - A duffel bag containing what appeared to be human remains was found in a Chicago park.
Fisherman in Lincoln Park came across the bag Saturday morning and police began an investigation.
A dive team found a second bag containing more remains. Police believe the two bags contained the remains of the same victim.
Police are looking into reports of missing persons for a possible identity and crisis responder Dawn Valenti is focused on two people missing from a south side neighborhood.
"One has been missing for 10 months, the other has been missing for about a week now," Valenti said. "It could be just a coincidence, but it brought me out here because I want to know."
The Cook County medical examiner is investigating the cause of death.
