SEATTLE (KOMO/CNN) – A woman gave birth in a bathroom during a concert Wednesday evening at Seattle's Neptune Theater during the Damian Marley concert. Damian Marley is the youngest son of Bob Marley.
The mother’s sister said that she went to take off her rings to not scratch the baby during birth, but by the time she turned around from setting the rings on the sink, the baby was born.
The woman's family says the new mother and her baby girl are doing well at Children’s Hospital.
The theater manager said the birth was a first for the venue.
"I've never seen anybody sneak into a show that way before. But there's a first time for everything," said the manager.
