(CNN) – An amazing view of the Southern Lights was caught on camera.
Brad Phipps took a time-lapse video earlier this month while on a charter flight to see the lights, officially known as the Aurora Australis.
The charter flight, called “The Flight of the Lights,” takes passengers from the New Zealand city of Christchurch down to the Antarctic Circle before looping back.
Phipps said the best place to see the Southern Lights is in the middle of the ocean, which is why he took the flight.
