SAN JOSE, CA (CNN) - Apple is officially jumping into the smart home speaker market.
At its annual developer conference in San Jose, California on Monday, Apple unveiled "HomePod."
The product seemed inspired by existing smart speakers like the Amazon Echo and Google Home.
HomePod is a seven-inch tall speaker for playing music, checking the news, controlling other connected devices in the house and more.
You wake it up by saying "Hey, Siri."
It will go on sale in Dec. with a price tag of $349.
