(CNN) - If traveling without your Alexa device gives you separation anxiety, relief has arrived.
Thanks to a partnership with Amazon announced Tuesday, Alexa will be checking into Marriott hotels.
The deal puts Amazon Echo smart speakers into select rooms across the family of hotels under the Marriott brand.
Amazon posted a promotional video illustrating how guests can use the device for common tasks like ordering room service and controlling lights. Additionally, they will be able to use the typical Alexa functions, like playing music and setting alarms.
Even guests without Amazon accounts will be able to use the smart speakers. Customers who may find the virtual assistant unsettling could just unplug it during their stay.
