LONDON (CNN) - Amazon is one of the world's largest online retailers, but in the UK, it has been trying out brick-and-mortar stores.
This week, Amazon opened a pop-up store in London's Soho Square. The temporary installation has been open since Wednesday and will shut down Friday night.
The pop-up store is intended to celebrate Amazon's first Black Friday sale, which took place in 2010.
Visitors can examine and try products that are discounted for the day, but can't buy anything to take home.
Instead, customers scan a barcode using the Amazon app and purchase items through the web.
The store also boasts a free beauty salon and is offering a chance to win prizes.
