...The National Weather Service in Nashville, Tn has issued a flood warning for

the following rivers in middle Tennessee...Alabama...

Duck River At Columbia affecting Maury County

Duck River At Centerville affecting Hickman County

Buffalo River Near Lobelville affecting Perry County

Shoal Creek Near Iron City affecting Lauderdale and Lawrence Counties

.Runoff from rainfall earlier today continues to move through area creeks and

streams into the larger rivers, including the Duck, Buffalo, and Shoal Creek.

Levels on the Duck are forecast to reach Moderate Flood Stage near Centerville,

and with additional rain in the forecast for Friday and Saturday, levels on the

Duck will remain high through the weekend.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid flooded areas along the river...And move personal belongings to higher

ground. Never drive through flooded roads as the depth of water may be too great

to pass...Even in trucks or sport utility vehicles. If you come across a flooded

road...Turn around don't drown.

* From this afternoon until Thursday morning.

* At 02PM Wednesday the stage was 11.9 feet and rising.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

* The river is forecast to rise above flood stage late this afternoon and

continue rising to near 15.0 feet after midnight.

* At 14.0 feet...Flooding of low lying areas along Shoal Creek begins.
