KISSIMMEE, FL. (AP) - Authorities are looking for two women who say they left their 11-year-old daughters at a grocery store while trying to skip out on their bill.

Osceola County deputies say Jessica Barker and Kristen Grodetz were shopping Sunday at a central Florida Publix. They attempted to leave the store without paying for $476 worth of groceries. When a store employee approached them, authorities say the women took off with a toddler, leaving the two girls at the store.

When deputies called one of the women, she said she would return to pick up the girls, but did not. The girls are now in the custody of state child welfare officials.
