TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Our Sunrise Rocks performers Friday, April 29th, showcased their talents gained from a local camp here in Tallahassee. Available again this summer, Music Lesson's Express is a local music camp.
Both Keegan and Nellie Flury have attended the camp in the past. Friday, they performed a number of pieces on the piano.
Their instructor, Brett Wellman, says the camp is a good way for kids to figure out what instrument they want to play.
Wellman is offering several camps this summer during the months of June, July, and August. Camps are limited to only 10 kids per week, so it is important to get registered. Wellman says the low number of kids each week helps to give the students a good amount of one-on-one time with the instructor.
Ages for the camp range from 5 to 12 years old.
