Storm Team Thursday Morning Forecast (2/27/14)

Posted

Light showers around our southeastern counties should wrap up in the early morning hours. This morning’s below average chilly temps are just a taste of what’s to come! Grab your jackets and keep them handy, our next few days will be on the cooler side. This afternoon highs will only get to 60, with light winds coming out of the northwest pulling down some colder air. As we clear out late tonight, and winds die down, our temps will drop tremendously to the upper 20’s. A light freeze is possible around some of the area. We rebound pretty nicely on Friday afternoon, with plenty of sunshine and highs in the mid 60’s. The 70’s make a come back just in time for the weekend with dry conditions and mostly sunny skies. Monday will begin partly sunny, and end with increasing clouds as a front nears the region. Showers are expected in the evening and overnight into Tuesday. Sunshine comes back Tuesday afternoon with a light breeze and temps back in the upper 60’s. Wednesday looks windy, mostly sunny and cool with a high of 63.

Bundle up, Stay warm and have a great Thursday!
