Madison, FL (WTXL) -- After losing 26 seniors from last season, it still is business as usual at Madison High School-- just a chance to reload.  After losing in the state semifinals to Trenton, the Cowboys went right back to work.

"With success it kind of is a double-edged sword," offensive coordinator  Jim Ertzberger said.  "It can be really good and it can be really tough. People expect alot out of you. It's good this year we have alot of young guys that have really embraced our past and our history."

Madison has four starters back on offense and three on defense.  Last year's backup quarterback Tre Adams will start this year. In addition, Teryon Henderson returns in the backfield after running for more than 1,000 yards last season.

"We knew this group was going to be different when we had guys showing up the next Monday after the Trenton loss in the playoffs wanting to work out and get started," Ertzberger said. "Usually, guys will want to take a week or two off, but  these seniors were right there Monday saying coach we are ready to go."

Madison begins the season against Rickards on August 26th.
