TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Arguably the biggest high school football game in Leon County will be at Chiles High School, as the Timberwolves host Lincoln in a rivalry and District match-up.

The Timberwolves are coming off their best season in school history, but they're not off to the start they wanted this year. Chiles is 1-2 entering Friday's contest, while Lincoln is 2-2.

The Trojans are looking to avenge last year's loss, which was their first ever the Chiles. The biggest perk to winning this game though, is that the winner sits in the driver's seat in making the postseason.

"This of course is the second part of the season right here," said Trojan head coach Yusuf Shakir. "We want to make sure we go out and make sure we execute and prepare and do everything we can to be successful for Friday night."

Chiles head coach Garrett Jahn notes that in order for his team to come out on top, they'll have to defend an offense that run and pass effectively, but their offense needs to get moving as well.

"We need to put some things together offensively which we haven't done yet," he said. "If we can do that Friday night, we should make it a competitive game and see if we can come out with a W."

Friday night's match-up kicks off at 7:00 at Chiles High School.
