TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Thomas County Central and Thomasville faced off Friday in our WTXL Friday Night Football Game of the Week.
The two rivals entered the Rose City Rivalry locked at 24 wins apiece in the match-up, so the winner Friday night would take over the series lead.
Central held on to win a close one 16-14, and in turn, took their first ever lead in the near five decade long rivalry.
