TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - Wednesday night's "Jimbo Fisher Call In Show" had quite the fireworks.
A question came from a member of the audience, and the response? Not a good one.
"You talk about we need to be committed to the program and keep cheering for the team, and we needed to be loyalty to this program," the viewer said. "So I'm wondering, where's the loyalty to the program Jimbo?"
Fisher didn't answer, instead, the microphone was pulled from the guys hand and he was escorted out of the building. Coach Fisher has made it clear to the media he does not want to talk about jobs or his status at Florida State, and the fans obviously included in that request.
As witnessed Wednesday, and just by looking over social media, the head coach has lost some of his fan base. He may also have lost some of his recruits, although he said earlier this week, no speaking on his job status has no impact on recruiting.
As of Wednesday, four star cornerback Houston Griffith and four star defensive back Isreal Muskuamu announced their decommitments from the program.
Locally, Chiles High School four star linebacker Amari Gainer said he is still committed, and even if Jimbo leaves, he said he will probably stay committed. He added in his opinion, "Jimbo is gone. Everyone pretty much knows he is leaving."
There is no word when, or even if, Fisher will announce that he is leaving Florida State.
