Three of our local squads took the field under the Thursday night lights. Despite rough weather, Gadsden County, Franklin County and Chiles were able to open up week two.
In the big bend, Wakulla led by quarterback Jaylon Worsham took down Chiles 21-0. Worsham ran in the what-would-be game-winning score late in the first quarter and the defense stifled the Timberwolves all night.
Out in PCB, Gadsden County fell in a high scoring affair to the Mosley Dolphins 46 to 36 and Franklin County fell to 0-2 on the year after falling to the Bucs from North Bay Haven 20-0.
