The LSU commit is an Elite Eleven quarterback at The Opening this week in Oregon. In non-recruiting speak, that means he's really good.
Like the other 165 top recruits showcased this week, Franks competed at several regional events nationwide. Thanks to his stellar performance, he secured an invitation to The Opening at Nike's World Headquarters.
There, Franks and the other recruits receive training, coaching, and competition against other elite athletes. To put the honor in perspective, former Florida State standouts PJ Williams and Jameis Winston both made the trip west when they were in high school.
